The first class focuses on discussing and experimenting with materials to create the relief blocks from, image transferring techniques, tools for carving, proper carving techniques, and sharpening your carving tools. The second class focuses on proper printing techniques, registering multiple blocks, and reduction woodcuts.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eStudents learn the basics of relief printing at home. We discuss ways to create relief blocks from materials around your house as well as more professional materials like wood and linoleum.
