Come join us in a game of Exquisite Corpse! Using the rules of exquisite corpse we will manually create prints together in a communal and unpredictable fashion. In the game we will be drawing, collaging, and playing with illustration and imagery to create collaborative prints together. Then in the spirit of repetition, we will be printing our works of art in different variations of 2 color on the risograph machine. We will see how color affects the outcome of the illustrations in a variety of color combinations. Their work explores themes of climate disaster, projected gender essentialism in media, feminine stereotyping in fantasy and utopic dreaming of love in a (un)dying world. They are a co-founder of TXTbooks, an independent publisher of risograph zines. Their publications are held in collections at the Whitney Museum, Metropolitan Museum of Art and SFMoma among others.
