This workshop will focus on a DIY version of pochoir, a French stencil printing technique, using readily available tools and materials that are conducive to a home studio practice.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eThe workshop will cover how to prepare images and text for multi-color pochoir prints, cut stencils, and print them in editions or as one-of-a-kind pieces. Once stencils are cut, it's playtime using color in various ways to print your designs. Participants are encouraged to create original prints, experiment with different paper surfaces to print on (such as drawings and prints they have previously made or found surfaces like old books), and explore hand-cut typography. Using insatiable curiosity as a guiding principle, she shares her love for learning and the dissemination of information through books and zines.
