About the Workshop:

This virtual workshop is taught by CBA instructor Shawn Sheehy.

Wish a Happy Valentine's Day to your edgier pals! These pop-up cards show that the spiked, tusked and fanged also want to be loved. In this workshop you will use a kit of pre-cut pieces and a handful of simple tools to build the featured structures. This class is comfortable for beginners and anyone looking to explore dimension and movement with paper-engineered structures.

With the relaxed time frame of this workshop you can work slowly, or you can take time to embellish your valentines with extra imagery and individualized messaging, or you can purchase extra kits and produce multiple copies of each valentine during the class.

Required Materials:

  • bone folder
  • x-acto knife
  • scissors
  • microspatula
  • tweezers
  • self-healing mat
  • PVA (or other strong white craft glue)
