About the Workshop:
This virtual workshop is taught by CBA instructor Shawn Sheehy.
With their closely interlocking and carefully contoured layers, sliceforms provide spectacular opportunities for rendering shape. Their many slotted joins reduce fold tension in the structure and allow for fluid, easy movement—as well as a logical and amusing approach to assembly. In this workshop you will use a kit of pre-cut pieces to assemble and study a variety of applied sliceform structures, with the ultimate goal of designing your own sliceform. As a final step, you will bind the structures into a simple case.
All skill levels are encouraged!
