Please Note: Registration for this workshop closes on September 22nd, at 11:59 pm Eastern Time.
About the Workshop:
The Crown Book is a movable book structure created by the master of innovative folding techniques, Hedi Kyle. The book is reminiscent of origami, as only folds are used to create this quick and fun structure with removable pages and plenty of possibilities!
In this workshop, participants will learn to fold and assemble this fun, movable book as we discuss: methods for creating consistency, which materials provide benefits or challenges, and ways to modify the book and shape your ideas! If you are looking to learn a book structure that is highly adaptable and requires few materials, then this workshop is the one for you.
Fun Fact: Kyle - the creator of this book structure - started her teaching career after Richard Minsky offered her a job teaching at the Center for Book Arts.
