2025 Chapbook Reading
Keeping House. Six Longer Poems by Laura Kolbe is a letterpress printed chapbook published on the occasion of the 2025 Annual Chapbook Reading. Kobe's manuscript was selected upon almost 500 submissions by guest judge Kwame Dawes. Designed, printed and bound by Rebecca Josephson in an edition of 100 copies.
About the poems Dawes says: "The collection is framed by four long love poems, named that way not because they are romantic love verse, but because they are poems written in a time of love setting an emotional and mythological space in which human relationships are expressed and explored. The language is insightful and inventive, and the poet shows some delicacy and complexity in the deftly written poems."
