Braverman will teach the essentials of printing hand-set type like inking and impression and selecting typefaces and paper.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eThis class is ideal for those who wish to learn to print simple text-based projects on the Vandercooks such as business cards, correspondence cards, and\/or poetry and prose.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eClass size is limited to ensure an optimal student-to-teacher ratio. She has been teaching letterpress printing, image-making, and book forms at CBA since 2006.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eShe began her journey into the world of book arts from a young age and studied letterpress printmaking through apprenticeship and job printing.
