This is an introductory workshop for Riso first-timers but also a good chance for those who might have overlooked the built-in features of the Riso machine.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eParticipants will learn how to make the most out of your Riso printing whether you are scanning watercolor, collage, drawings, or your analog photographs. Each student will take home an edition of 10 lettersized two-color prints. This workshop is part 2 of a series of Riso workshops and will be focused on using the machine. She is part of the curatorial collective Indisciplinadas where she has developed exhibitions such as No room for books and soft [cover] revolution. She is the co-founder of Calipso Press, a printing studio, publishing label and artistic collective established in 2015 in Cali, and since 2022 based in NY. Calipso hosts a residency program oriented to expanded publishing and printing experimentation.
