In this introductory class you will learn the basic use of bookbinding tools and materials, along with simple bookbinding structures that utilize softcovers.\u003c\/span\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eStudents will learn about non-adhesive structures, bindings for single sheets, and other bindings that can be made with little specialized equipment. Accordions, pamphlets, drum leaf books, and a variety of softcover bindings will be taught during the course. She has been teaching letterpress printing, image-making, and book forms at CBA since 2006.\u003c\/span\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eShe began her journey into the world of book arts from a young age and studied letterpress printmaking through apprenticeship and job printing.
