Biome of Adaptive Relations (B.A.R.) is a participatory installation by artist Rujuta Rao, where she shares a menu of books, artworks, and a beverage with audience members. The work examines how the bar and menu can converge into a site for curation, exhibition, and interaction. It is centered around the theme of mutualism, which is reflected in the cocktail. Rao is curious about reimagining the traditional bar counter by removing the divide between front and back to transform social interactions. This installation also activates select books from the exhibition, inviting engagement through multisensory experience, dialogue, and collective exploration.
