About the Workshop:

In this virtual workshop for beginners led by Instructor Beth Sheehan, students will learn the basics of pamphlet stitch. Sheehan will cover introductory topics including selecting proper materials and tools needed throughout the process.

Once students have mastered the basics, Sheehan will demonstrate how to modify or adapt your pamphlet to suit various needs—turning simple structures into exciting explorations of form. Over the course of the class, each student will make a 5-hole accordion with a wrap-around cover pamphlet, a double-pamphlet, a french-door pamphlet, a pamphlet sewn to accordions, and a single leaf pamphlet.
