after futura: 26 Broadsides Printed by Hansjörg Mayer is an exhibition that brings together the complete futura series, produced by Hansjörg Mayer in Stuttgart between 1965 and 1968, alongside newly commissioned responses by contemporary artists, designers, poets, and publishers. This catalog includes the exhibition’s curatorial essay and expanded labels for all twenty-six broadsides, providing historical context and close readings of the works. Through the individual broadsides, the publication introduces the artists, poets, and ideas that shaped the futura series and the experimental print culture from which it emerged.
